A few years ago, a video captured an incident that exemplifies the importance of respect during these solemn ceremonies. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is guarded at all times to maintain order and ensure reverence. On this particular occasion, a soldier on patrol noticed a group of people behaving obnoxiously and laughing near the memorial. Their laughter is audibly clear in the video, prompting the guard to intervene.
