Pregnant Pittie Mama Seeks Help from Rescuers

Despite her nervousness, Waffles remained calm and trusting throughout the examination. Her gratitude for the assistance was evident as she flashed a heartwarming smile at the assessing veterinarian. The ultrasound confirmed that Waffles would give birth soon, most likely within the next 10 days.
To provide Waffles with the rest she desperately needed, one of the dedicated members of Hope for Paws decided to take her home. Little did they know that the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. On the very same night, after receiving all the necessary care, Waffles gave birth. She had waited until she was rescued to bring her puppies into the world.
Witnessing Waffles’s mothering instincts kick in, especially considering the hardships she had endured, was truly touching. It was a remarkable Mother’s Day for this pitbull, who now had a safe and nurturing environment in which to raise her litter.
